Lee Arter:

Lee Arter completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, graduating cum laude in 1970 with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science. Prior to entering the field of law, Lee had a successful career in his family business as a manufacturer’s representative, representing major commercial suppliers. Upon graduating from the University of La Verne in 1988, Lee began his practice in personal injury litigation first with Spiegel, Vitabile & Yochelson.

The Law Office of Lee Arter was founded in 1992 and currently has a staff of five attorneys and fifteen support staff. Lee has served as a volunteer arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Courts and has extensive experience in mediating and arbitrating his own cases. He has hands-on supervision in the day to day operations of the law office. He is an exceptional advocate for his clients. He has a published opinion in Amos v. Alpha Property Management, which reversed standing case law in the area of landowner’s liability in the common areas of a dwelling.

Lee is admitted to practice law in all State Courts in California, the Southern California Tribal Court, and the Federal District Court for the for the Central District of California. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. He is active in various local interests and has a daughter, three sons, and three grandchildren. Lee resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Steve M. Karp:

Steven M. Karp has practiced in the personal injury field for more than 40 years. He has been a partner in an insurance defense firm, Iorillo & Karp and thereafter founded the Law Offices of Steven M. Karp located in Los Angeles and later in Calabasas, CA where his emphasis was insurance bad faith litigation, serious accident defense, and insurance coverage work. He had longstanding insurance company clients for over 30 years. Mr. Karp was often approached about “switching sides” by his colleagues, and in 2004 he began his current practice which consists of representation of clients, the majority of whom have suffered serious injuries.

Mr. Karp writes “Insurance companies have the deck stacked in their favor. Jurors are skeptical. People need experienced advocates who know how cases are won in court and the tactics insurance companies employ, in order to win and achieve justice. I’m pleased to lend my talents to that fight. “Mr. Karp is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is a former member of the Southern California Fraud Investigators Association and the Southern California Defense Counsel. He graduated from Hastings College of Law in 1976. He has two children and 3 grandsons. He lives in Simi Valley, CA.

Orly Talmor:

Orly Talmor received her undergraduate degree from California State University Northridge in political science and was awarded membership in Pi Sigma Alpha, a national political science honors society. She attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1991. She has extensive experience in plaintiff’s personal injury and in worker’s compensation. Orly handles catastrophic injury cases through trial. She is fluent in Hebrew, has two daughters and resides in West Hills, CA.

Ron Gomez:

Mr. Gomez received his undergraduate Bachelor Degree in English Literature and Chemistry from Columbia College, Columbia University and spent several years thereafter in the development and executive management of several businesses. He is a graduate of Western State University College of Law and practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, civil rights, employment, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and business litigation.

He is admitted to practice before the Southern California Tribal Court, and is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. Mr. Gomez served on the Board of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association as Treasurer, in 2003-2004. Mr. Gomez is second and third generation Mexican-American and speaks fluent Spanish. He is married. He and his wife, Jacqueline, have three sons and reside in Whittier, CA.

Eric D. DeBellis:

Eric D. DeBellis is a newly admitted member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Central and Eastern Court Districts. He attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Eric has been employed by the Law Offices of Lee Arter for the past ten years as an Office Administrator and Negotiator. He attended law school in the evenings and received his Juris Doctorate from Abraham Lincoln University. He resides in Pasadena with his wife, Theresa, and his son Nicholas. Eric enjoys bowling, running marathons, and is an avid Dodger fan.
